Dear Church Family...
An update on where we are and what we're doing in light of COVID-19
As we find ourselves faced with another lockdown period, we have sadly had to close our church doors again for Sunday Service and the majority of other events until Thur 3rd Dec when it will be reviewed. However, HT will be open on a Sunday morning for individual prayer should you wish to come.
We have been very blessed since mid-September to be able to meet physically in a safe environment and we know this has been of great benefit to those who have been able to attend. We have loved seeing you again and would like to thank you for your continued support in these strange times, but we know and trust that God remains constant and our Rock.
However, there is still a lot that we can do, and we wanted to update you on the different areas of the church to let you know what will be happening over the next month or so:
Individual Prayer –
HT will be open for individual prayer on Sunday mornings only on 15th, 22nd, and 29th November during lockdown from 9:30 – 10:30am. This will follow all the usual Covid safety procedures and you will be required to book through ChurchSuite. Please note this is specifically for individual prayer and not groups (unless you are from the same household). Bookings each of the dates will open on the preceding Sunday at 2pm. There will be no live service or singing, but there will be visual prompts to help focus our prayer. The time will purely be for mediation and prayer (with background music).
The HT team will make every effort to continue to keep in touch with everyone via telephone, email, letter or in person over the coming month. It is really important that we take care of each other. If you are in need of assistance in any way please either contact your Small Group Leader or contact Pastor Steve on 07944 611889 (9-5pm Sun-Fri) or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you simply want someone to contact you just for a chat, please do let us know…we are happy to assist in any way we can.
Sunday Service at HT –
our Sunday service will continue to be available via our Facebook page from 10:20am each Sunday morning. Do join us if you can. To join us: Log into your Facebook account, and then search for @holytrinityweston. If you don't have Facebook, you can watch the service afterwards via the HT website: or via our Youtube channel - just go into Youtube and type: Holy Trinity Weston into the search. Then if you click on subscribe you will be notified as and when new videos are posted. We also have our new podcast which you can listen to whilst jogging, cycling or doing the housework – details are on our website
Please continue to share the service with your friends. We are encouraged when others join us, especially our international friends and followers, and it’s a great opportunity for an introduction to church.

HT Small Groups –
During these times of social distancing and isolation, the small groups continue to offer a great support network to help meet your practical and spiritual needs. If you are not currently part of a small group and would like to be, please do contact Pastor Neil on email at . He will be happy to get you connected ASAP.
The Small Group Study is available through our Youtube channel (Holy Trinity Weston) for those who wish to take advantage of this (please make sure you subscribe to receive notifications for new updates).
Weekly Communication - It is our aim to ensure that everyone who wishes to be is connected to the church family during this time. We will recommence our weekly updates via email and post (for those who don’t have access to email). We are doing our best to ensure those who do not have email or access to technology feel connected during this time but should you know of anyone, why not give them a quick call to let them they are not forgotten and to let them know what’s happening by sharing the content of the weekly updates.
From the desk of the Finance Officer..."In the 12 months ended 30th Sept 2020 (Elim's Financial Year), the general giving from the HT family was 96.4% of the amount we had budgeted before knowing about Covid-19. Given the economic uncertainties faced by many of you, that is truly phenomenal. It is a testament to your generosity and commitment to the work and ministry of HT. “Thank you!"
Givt – Digital Giving Made Easy.
We now have Givt, an additional means of giving financially to the ministry of HT. It is designed primarily for those in the HT family who normally give by cash or cheque and for visitors to our church services (real and virtual) and to our website. Here’s a link for anyone who’d like to check it out:
Revealed Projects –
As you are aware, Adele was placed on furlough back in March when the schools closed but had, more recently, been gradually starting to provide services again as schools re-opened. Although schools remain open during the current lockdown, it is a difficult time for them, and many are unable to permit external agencies at this time. During the current 4 week lockdown period, Revealed Projects services will take place virtually for any schools that wish to proceed with their bookings. Adele’s time will continue to be split between work and furlough dependent on the need whilst furlough remains available. Adele continues to be a valuable member of the team and it is right that we honour her by ensuring she is not financially disadvantaged during this period. Please continue to pray for Adele and Revealed Projects during this challenging time and, for those who support the project financially, we are truly grateful for your support.
HT Website –
For those who haven’t checked out the HT website for a while, I would encourage you to as Abbie has been busy making changes:
· Video or audio of Church services at HT– if you have missed any talks on a Sunday, they can be found on the HT Weston website. The link is:
· HT Blog – we continue to add new blogs every few days written by different members of the team, providing encouragement and insight. The link for this is:
· Prayer requests – If you or someone you know has a prayer request for anything you can let us know by using the link on the HT website: – it's easy to do. These prayer requests will come through to Church office where they will be distributed to a small team of folk who will pray for each specific request. If you don't have access to the website, you can send an email to: or where it will be dealt with in the same way.
Foodbank Partnership –
HT continues to work in partnership with the WSM Foodbank by being an outlet. The church will be open on a Mon (includes bank holiday), Tue and Thurs from 1-3pm for those who are very much in need of essential provisions. Please continue to support the foodbank as and when you are able to with food donations. The service at HT is only for people who have a voucher from a registered organisation.
