About Ignite Youth
Ignite Youth is our weekly youth group at Holy Trinity Church, Weston-super-Mare open to all young people in school years 6 to 13.
Each Thursday night is packed with fun, friendship, and plenty to do, including games and challenges, air hockey, basketball, a tuck shop, and a chill-out space to relax and connect.

Youth Small group
We run two small groups that meet every other Tuesday evening, creating a consistent space for community, discipleship, and honest conversation. One group is for young people in school years 9–13 (up to age 18), and the other is for young adults. Each group meets on alternate weeks, allowing us to focus intentionally on the specific needs, questions, and stage of life of those attending.
Our heart is to provide a safe and welcoming environment where young people can build meaningful friendships, grow in confidence, explore faith openly, and be encouraged in their walk with Jesus. Evenings typically include time to connect, discussion around Scripture, practical teaching, prayer, and space to ask real questions about life and faith.
Kindle and Ablaze
During our Sunday church services, our young people begin by staying in the main gathering to engage in worship alongside the wider church family. We believe it’s important for them to encounter God together with the whole community before moving into age-specific teaching.
After worship, they head upstairs for a relevant, engaging, and age-appropriate session designed to help them understand and apply God’s Word in everyday life. These sessions are interactive and discussion-based, encouraging participation, curiosity, and spiritual growth.
Kindle is for ages 10–12 and focuses on building strong foundations of faith in a fun, creative, and relational way.
Ablaze is for ages 13–15 and is designed to help young people deepen their understanding of Scripture, navigate real-life challenges, and grow in confidence in their identity in Christ.
