WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT WELLBEING?
There are many different kinds of wellbeing which are all mentioned within the Bible. A few examples are: mental wellbeing, physical wellbeing, spiritual wellbeing and emotional wellbeing.
The Bible is a great tool for finding encouragement and to show us how much God cares about us and our wellbeing. Here are a few examples:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
"You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in you."
Revealed Projects is a project run by Holy Trinity Church, which aims to inspire young people across North Somerset and parts of Somerset through promoting healthy self-esteem, wellbeing and positive relationships.
We think self-esteem and wellbeing are vital and impact all areas of our lives, including our relationships. It's so important to take care of our wellbeing and invest in our relationships, now even more so.
These tips work for young people and adults alike.
