Elaine has been working with the church for over 10 years with a background of successful leadership in financial services bringing skills and experience in people development and project delivery. She is married to Graham and they have a grown-up son, Jon, and a daughter, Beth, aged 12. Elaine has a passion to equip and help others to grow in the ministry God has called them to serve in.
Steve is married to Helen and they have two daughters, Iona and Sian.
Before coming to Weston in 2014 Steve and his family lived and worked in Nepal for 7 years starting new churches and transforming communities.
His focus and passion comes from Jesus’ command to “Go and make disciples” – this was the divine plan that Jesus had for transforming his world.
Steve loves to experience new things and enjoys to travel. He returns to Nepal at least once a year.
Manager of Revealed Projects
Adele was born in Weston-super-Mare and grew up in Holy Trinity Church. She has a passion for working with young people, particularly around issues related to self-esteem, emotional wellbeing, and healthy relationships. Adele has a background of working with young people in different roles, including supporting those exposed to sexual exploitation, and now manages Revealed Projects (www.revealedprojets.org.uk). Having been born and bred in Weston, she feels privileged to be able to reinvest into the local community.
Neil is married to Sarah and is blessed to have two amazing daughters, Maddie and Gracie.
He has a passion for people to discover their potential in and through the power of Jesus, and knows that God uses anyone from anywhere to do great things for His glory.
He loves spending time with his family, drinking a good coffee, eating pizza, ninja turtles, reading, football and watching a good film.
Dawn Garge serves on the ministerial and leadership team as an ordained minister. She has 3 children (Amelia, Rosie, Luke) and is married to Grant. She has a passion to communicate God's word to the church. Dawn is energised by belonging to a contagious church which looks to impact both its members and the community beyond its walls. Her desire is to see each individual equipped and living out what God intended them to be.
Phil is married to Michelle. Together they have 2 children and 3 (soon to be 5!) grandchildren. Phil took the unexpected opportunity to semi-retire at the end of 2016 as a management accountant in Financial Services. This has enabled him to fulfil the role of Finance Officer (Treasurer) at HT, be more available to spend time with his family and to manage the renovation of their neglected 1920’s house in WSM. He has been a part of HT for 18 years and continues to be passionate about seeing our church have a tangible impact in changing the lives of the local community in both practical and spiritual terms.
Reuben is currently studying a degree in Applied Theology at Regents Theological College and remains on team through this context learning course.
He is engaging with all aspects of church life to allow it to shape his understanding of how church operates.
Reuben has a passion to reach the students in Weston-Super-Mare with the message that Jesus loves them and hopes to lay the foundations for a student ministry for others to build upon.
Christy joined the team in September 2018 as youth leader. She is married to Connor and they both hail from Scotland. They have a cute pet lizard called Gizmo.
Christy has a passion for seeing the lives of young people changed and transformed by the power of Jesus. In a world that is constantly competing for young people's attention, Christy's desire is to see youth on fire for God and standing strong in His love throughout everything they face in their lives.
Social Media & Website Manager
Abbie is married to Joey and they recently moved to Weston-Super-Mare after graduating from Regents Theological College. Abbie manages all of our social media, updates our website and currently edits our live stream service every week. Outside of work, Abbie loves walking her dog on the beach, reading any kind of book and collecting as many houseplants as possible.
